POWA Pledges Support for Lagos Police Command

The Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) has reaffirmed its support for the Lagos State Police Command in its efforts to enhance security across the state.

The Chairperson of POWA in Lagos, Oluwakemi Tijani, gave the assurance during a courtesy visit by the association’s delegation to the Commissioner of Police, Tijani Olaiwola Fatai, at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja on April 14, 2026.

She said the association remains committed to supporting police officers on the home front, noting that such efforts contribute to improved morale and effectiveness in the discharge of their duties.

The visit, according to the state police command, also underscored the role of officers’ families in strengthening the operational capacity of the force.
