Lagos Assembly Aspirant Shodipo Promises Inclusive Policies, Socio-economic Reforms

A leading Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yetunde Sherifat Shodipo, has pledged to sponsor bills that will accelerate socio-economic development in Surulere Constituency 1 if elected.

In a statement released by her media team, Shodipo said her legislative focus would centre on youth empowerment, job creation, quality education, skill development, and improved healthcare services.

She also promised to run an inclusive, people-oriented representation, ensuring that no group is marginalised on the basis of religion, ethnicity, age, or gender.

The aspirant emphasised the need for unity among party members and residents, urging stakeholders to support whoever emerges as the APC candidate in order to promote peaceful coexistence before, during, and after the election.

Shodipo, however, stressed that the candidate selection process must be fair, transparent, and acceptable to the majority of stakeholders, including other aspirants.

She added that her agenda is rooted in a deep understanding of the needs of Surulere Constituency 1, with a commitment to champion policies that will uplift communities, empower youths, support women, and create sustainable opportunities for all.
