President Tinubu Accepts Minister Geoffrey Nnaji’s Resignation

President Bola Tinubu has accepted the resignation of the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Geoffrey Uche Nnaji.


Nnaji, who was appointed in August 2023, tendered his resignation following allegations leveled against him. 


In his resignation letter, he thanked the President for the opportunity to serve the country and described himself as a target of blackmail by political opponents.


A statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed that the President had accepted Nnaji’s resignation.


President Tinubu commended the former minister for his service to the nation and wished.
