Lagos APC Reaffirms Loyalty, Says It Stands Firmly with President Tinubu

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, declaring that the party stands firmly behind his administration’s reform-driven agenda and steady leadership.


In a statement on Saturday signed by the party’s spokesman, Hon. Seye Oladejo, the Lagos APC described President Tinubu as a leader delivering results with courage, vision, and conviction, despite “the bitterness and distractions” from opposition figures.


Oladejo said the President’s address at the recent Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting reflected confidence in Nigeria’s progress and reaffirmed that the nation is rising on a foundation of reforms that are already yielding tangible results.


“While opposition politicians resort to propaganda and pessimism, President Tinubu continues to rebuild the country brick by brick, reform by reform,” the statement read. 


“He remains focused on stabilizing the economy, restoring investor confidence, and protecting Nigeria’s image globally.”


Citing key economic indicators, the party pointed to the oversubscribed $2.35 billion Eurobond, Nigeria’s 4.23% GDP growth, the highest in a decade, improved industrial output, growing foreign reserves above $43 billion, and a ₦7.4 trillion trade surplus as signs that the administration’s policies are working.


Oladejo noted that Lagos APC, being the political base and proving ground of President Tinubu’s leadership model, has full confidence in his ability to navigate the nation through current challenges.


“President Tinubu has demonstrated that leadership is not about rhetoric, but about results,” Oladejo said. 


“He has shown the capacity, the courage, and the conviction to move Nigeria forward. Lagos APC is proud of his performance and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with him every step of the way.”


The party also took a swipe at opposition leaders, accusing them of “praying for Nigeria’s failure” to gain political relevance. 


It maintained that such conduct would only alienate them further from Nigerians who can see the difference in governance direction.


“Those who profit from chaos will soon realize that Nigerians are wiser,” the statement added. “Our country is on the rise, and the world has taken notice.”


Reiterating its loyalty, the Lagos APC assured that it will continue to mobilize support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda across all levels of governance.


“President Tinubu is rebuilding Nigeria with courage and competence. Lagos APC stands firmly with him, united in vision, purpose, and hope for a greater nation,” the statement added.
