Lagos CP Visits Air Force Base, Mourns Crew, Passengers Of 931 Aircraft Crash In Ondo
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has visited the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Lagos, to commiserate with the Nigerian Air Force over the deaths of crew members and passengers in the 931 Aircraft accident at Igbokoda, Ondo State.
Fatai, who met with the Commander, 651 Base, Air Commodore M. A. Imam, expressed condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and families of the victims over the tragic incident.
The Commissioner described the visit as a show of solidarity with the Air Force and the bereaved families at a time of profound loss.
He prayed for strength and comfort for the families of the deceased, their colleagues and the entire Nigerian Air Force community.
Fatai also reaffirmed the Lagos State Police Command’s solidarity with the Nigerian Air Force and other sister security agencies, stressing the importance of continued inter-agency cooperation and mutual support, particularly during difficult moments.
The visit underscored the bond between the police and other security agencies in supporting one another and families affected by the tragedy.
