FCT Police Arrested 11 Suspected Drug Dealers, Seize 68 Bags of Cannabis

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested eleven suspected drug dealers and recovered 68 bags of cannabis in a series of raids across Abuja.

The operation, carried out by the Command’s Anti-Narcotics Unit, targeted known drug black spots in the city.

Police said the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal supply chains and reduce drug-fuelled crimes in the capital.

Spokesperson of the Command, SP Josephine Adeh, said in a statement that the breakthrough underscored the commitment of the police to keeping harmful substances off the streets.

She urged residents to support the ongoing campaign by providing useful information through the Command’s emergency lines.

The suspects are expected to face prosecution after investigations are concluded.
