LAGOS NYSC PASSING OUT PARADE
 
The National Youths Service Corps in Lagos has withheld the certificates of six corps members that served in the state.
 
The State Director of the NYSC, Oladipupo Laniyan said the affected corps members are to face disciplinary committee for various offences committed during the course of service.
 
Laniyan who made this known at the passing out parade of the Batch B at the NYSC Iyana Ipaja Orientation Camp appealed to Governor Babatunde Fashola to fast track the relocation of the Orientation Camp to Ikorodu.
 
Fashola in his remarks promised that the state government would ensure improved security around the corps members in the face of recurring kidnapping of their colleagues in the country.
 
Correspondent Sulaymon Abdulkareem reports that two of the outgoing corps members got Governor’s Award while seven others received Certificates of Merit.
