JUNE 12: Lagos causes confusion over holiday


Some students and workers in Lagos today stayed at home thinking that the day had been declared as a public holiday to celebrate the June twelve, nineteen ninety three presidential election.

A Cross-Section who spoke with our correspondent blamed the government for not coming out clearly enough that it was not a work-free day.

Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Ekiti State governments declared the day as a public holiday to mark the June twelve anniversary.
