The Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU), Lagos, CP Rose Chollom Dung, has outlined key expectations for officers and men of the Unit, stressing professionalism, discipline and commitment to duty as priorities for the New Year.

Speaking at the Unit’s first briefing of 2026, the Commissioner said effective policing depends on integrity, accountability and strict observance of the rule of law.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ovie Kenneth Ewhubare, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, Lagos.

She noted that the conduct of individual officers shapes public perception of the Nigeria Police Force, urging personnel to act responsibly at all times.

She warned that any form of unprofessional behaviour would attract appropriate sanctions, describing discipline as the foundation of law enforcement.

The Commissioner also reaffirmed the PSFU’s commitment to continuous training and capacity building, urging officers to renew their dedication to national service and the protection of lives and property in 2026.

Addressing members of the public, CP Dung assured them of the Unit’s readiness to provide effective, intelligence-driven policing and to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders.
