Lagos CP, NYSC Strengthen Partnership on Corps Members’ Safety



The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to ensure the safety and well-being of Corps Members serving across the state.

CP Fatai stated this when he received the NYSC State Coordinator, Lagos State, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, alongside members of her team and Corps Members, during a familiarisation visit to the Command Headquarters, Ikeja.


The visit focused on strengthening the existing relationship between the Police Command and the NYSC, while exploring areas of greater collaboration towards creating a safe and secure environment for Corps Members during their national service.

The Commissioner appreciated the NYSC delegation for the visit and assured them of the Command’s continued support and cooperation.


He reiterated the importance of sustained partnership between the police and the NYSC in addressing security concerns and protecting Corps Members serving in different parts of Lagos State.
