Troops Raid Cattle Rustlers And Armed Bandits Camp At Yan Mangu Forest

Troops of 1 Brigade Nigerian Army operating under the auspices of Operation MESA in Zamfara State, have raided suspected cattle rustlers and armed bandits camp at Yan Mangu forest, near Dandindin village, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The troops also arrested two bandits and recovered one AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 rifle magazine loaded with seven rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunitions, three locally made guns and one motorcycle.


The Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman said in a statement said the two suspects were arrested while attempting to flee from the camps.
